Garden Girl kits

I finished a couple of pages today with some brand new kits from Garden Girl. Larisa has been working her fingers numb and produced at least 4 kits recently. One of them is in my previous post. Here are two more. I'm not sure my pages do them justice.

I love the colors in this adorable kit. I focused a lot on the browns, but the blues are so pretty.

My sewing project

On a whim, I decided to make a nursing pillow. What do you think? I think it turned out great since I just made it up.

My new embroidery machine

Okay, so it has been quite a while since I've shown you anything non-scrapbooking, but today I spent the day in front of my sewing machine, so I have to share. For Christmas, my mom gave me a new machine that doubles as embroidery machine. Today was my first attempt and I think it turned out great. I didn't start small or easy either - multiple colors.

Here is the finished project, it is a burp cloth. Sorry the picture doesn't show the colors well.
